MAKING AN ENTRANCE
My clients wanted to make more of a small area of planting to the front of their house. The existing scheme wasn’t thriving, given the shady aspect and some of the plants had lost their shape and impact.
The new planting scheme better suits the conditions and makes a greater impression when approaching the house. Plants have been selected to provide interest throughout the year, with shrubs providing the main structure alongside textural perennials and grasses. The striking colour palette of red and green, with highlights of white, complements two existing photinia bushes that were retained and have been pruned to shape.
